Guidelines

Step 1 : Create an Account (1-2 Minutes)

Take a minute to create your account on this platform. An email will be sent to your address for confirmation as soon as you submit the required information. If it never arrives, please log/open a ticket on https://support.mak.ac.ug, under "Jobs Platform issues" topic. We'll sort out the issues ASAP (9:00 am - 5:00 pm).

If you already have an account on this platform, click here to log in instead.

Step 2: Create a Profile (4-5 Minutes)

After successfully creating an account. Log into the platform and create a profile under your account. Click "Applicant's Profile" tab. Fill in your Bio data. For individuals who already have this data somewhere, a simple copy and paste will take you anywhere between 3 - 5 minutes (with formatting). This will be your virtual CV for applying for any vacancy/position in Makerere University

Ensure to have updated and accurate information in this section because it will be an important point of reference.

Step 3: Apply for a Job (5-8 Minutes)

Browse the listed jobs and click view details to read more about the job. After you have satisfactorily read through the details, proceed by clicking on the 'Apply now' button. You will need to be logged in

Select the desired job in the first step, and attach your CV, Certificates, Transcripts, Referee's in the steps that follow. Click submit application after all is done.

Ensure you have at least met the following requirements:

  • Name of applicant
  • Contact information, including phone and email
  • Education history
  • Work experience
  • Date of Birth
  • Signed Reference Letters / Recommendation Letters (3) with names, Rank, Tel., Email address
  • Application letter
  • CV, Certificates /Transcripts, 
  • Date of application (system generated)

Your submission will be available under the Submissions tab, which you will see when you go to your profile page. You can Edit, Delete your submission before the deadline of the job you've applied for.
